Challenge of the Americas

We are honored to raise funds to find a cure at Challenge of the Americas 2019 for a second year in a row!

The Challenge of the Americas, known throughout the equestrian world for its spectacular performances on horseback, returns for its 16th Anniversary on March 8, 2019 to continue its fight against breast cancer. The annual fundraiser benefits the Breast Cancer Research Foundation through its partner Play for P.I.N.K. (also an AmFund nonprofit partner), and is a one-of-a-kind affair highlighting the equestrian sport of dressage.

Top-level riders and their horses dance to carefully choreographed patterns set to music in a Grand Prix quadrille challenge. Riders include some of the "Who's Who" of the top equestrian competitors in the United States, Canada, Latin America, Australia and Europe. The Challenge of the Americas has evolved over the years from an afternoon dressage exhibition and luncheon in 2002 to an under-the-lights international equestrian extravaganza and gala. Its success and continued growth is due to its partnership in the fight against breast cancer, as well as its unique and highly entertaining format that includes the elegance of the musical freestyle quadrille forever to be recognized as "dancing for women and men around the world." There are few places where an audience can delight in the performances of such a large and distinguished group of riders and their magnificent partners. Join us as we #challengebreastcancer at the Challenge of the Americas.
