American Fundraising Foundation Has Donated
Over $2.2 Million to Nonprofits for Breast Cancer Support
MAITLAND, Fla. (October 4, 2023) – In honor and recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the American Fundraising Foundation (AmFund) is proud to announce it has donated nearly $2.2 Million to nonprofits in support of the fight against Breast Cancer and further Breast Cancer Research. Over 100 organizations have received unrestricted donations from AmFund to help provide education, food service, transportation, hospitalization, comfort care, respite care for caregivers and other much needed assistance to those affected by breast cancer.
Organizations such as Play for Pink, The Promise Fund, Gilda’s Club, Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, Friend for Life Cancer Support, Cancer Family Care, Breast Cancer Support Services and Mon Health as well as many others have benefitted from the unrestricted funds.
Each year, AmFund carefully chooses to support a wide range of organizations through sponsorship of events, year-end financial grant distribution, virtual silent auctions, and other fundraising programs. Its support of organizations centered around breast cancer is one example of a health and human service category that relies on financial support to continue their important mission.

Each year, AmFund approves and partners with over 600 organizations throughout the United States and provides unrestricted funds to support important causes ranging from the arts; veterans’ services; senior and youth programs; animal rescues and therapies; and humanitarian relief. Over the past 24 years, AmFund has distributed over $54 million to worthy organizations through its sponsorship of events and over $500K in unrestricted grants.
