GOLD Gala

This year, AmFund was honored to attend and support Special Olympics Mississippi at their GOLD gala which honored the accomplishments of more than 4,500 athletes across the state who compete year-around locally, regionally and nationally.

Since the 1960's the Special Olympics has strived to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for all children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics Athletes and their communities.
